Mai Hiro x Full Sail University
Just recently, our very own Nakanari and Soujohn had an opportunity to speak at Full Sail University about the Mai Hiro brand, about our ongoing/ up coming projects, and the benefit project for Full Sail University. Hit the jump for more information. As you all probably know, Mai Hiro came about when Nakanari and Soujohn came in contact and wanted to create something that was heavily focused on character design and illustration. Since then, Mai Hiro has done collaborations with companies such as Kidrobot, Good Wood, and Hutch Snowboards.
Now, they are taking their work back to the schools at a charity event for Full Sail University.
On Tuesday, September 2nd, Mai Hiro and Full Sail University will be holding the, “2nd Annual Full Sail Faculty & Staff Charity Art Show to Benefit the Student Pantry.” Now, if you have no idea what the benefit is for, that’s ok! The idea is to create amazing art to help students at the university.
Now, this event is not opened to the public and is only available to the faculty and staff of Full Sail University. But for all the faculty / staff participating, they will receive a Kidrobot DIY toy and will create an amazing piece for the art show. On top of that, there will be an art sale that evening of the said toys!
All faculty and staff are encouraged to participate. This is for the students and for the school that shapes their futures.
Be on the lookout for a recap!
